Material Types

HSC offers several types of material that are used universally for most applications. We do carry some specialty products for custom runs and can be used upon request.

Our stocked material is either 2 mil polyester, or 2 mil HRI film. We can provide 1 mil polyester, but find that 2 mil polyester is more universal and makes a sturdier quality label. Our tamper evident materials are constructed with a full release, or a selective release with a circle or voided pattern. Once the label is applied, if removed it will destroy the hologram letting you know it has been tampered with.

Standard 2 mil polyester film. The standard material can also become tamper evident by adding simple security slits to the die, so that in the event of removal the label will tear into pieces destroying itself.

HRI - High Resolution Index Film, which is a clear material used for badges, ID Overlays, and several other applications where you want to see through the material, yet have the security of a hologram present. Available as standard, or tamper evident with a circle selective release pattern. Our HRI we stock is a 2 mil thickness, but we can order other thicknesses per request.

Semi - Transparent 60/40 2 mil tamper evident selective release with circle pattern. This is available upon request and is used in a few of our stock labels. 60/40 is partially see-through, yet retains the clarity of 2 mil polyester.

We also use a variety of paper products and tag stock. We can custom run on any material type within our abilities for your project. We also welcome R&D runs and experiments on new ideas and projects.
